Either way the address was published by its source. Nothing is appended from a data broker, nothing is guessed from a name pattern, and we only carry active records — if we don't hold a published email for a physician, they aren't in the file.
Is it legal to email these agents?
In the U.S., commercial email is governed by CAN-SPAM, which does not require prior consent. It does require that every message uses accurate header and From information, has a subject line that isn't misleading, is identifiable as an advertisement, includes your valid physical postal address, offers a clear, working unsubscribe, and that you honor opt-outs within 10 business days. Some states add rules on top.
