ProCount Customer Lookup for Stripe

ProCount Customer Lookup is a free Stripe App from Email Lists USA. It adds a panel to the customer page in your Stripe Dashboard that shows whether that customer is a licensed or registered US professional.
What you see
- Licensed professional or Not found.
- If found: their profession, city and state, the firm they work for where it's on record, and the month we last saw them on the public source.
- How many people in that profession we have on file in their state, and a link to that profession's page for the state.
Install and use
- Install ProCount Customer Lookup from the Stripe App Marketplace.
- Open any customer in your Stripe Dashboard.
- Click the ProCount icon at the top right to open the panel. The lookup runs by itself when the customer has an email address.
How the lookup works
The app reads the customer's email through the Stripe API using one permission: read customers. Inside your Dashboard it lowercases the address and computes a one-way SHA-256 hash, then sends only that hash, signed by Stripe, to emaillistsusa.com. We compare it with the hashed emails of the professionals in our database and send back the fields above, or "not found".
We never receive the email address itself. We don't store the hash or anything about your customers, and the app can't read or change anything else in your Stripe account.
Where the data comes from
Public professional licensing registers and professional directories, covering 40 professions in all 50 states and DC. Anyone listed can ask to be removed; see our privacy policy.
Try it with the demo record
In test mode, create a customer with the email jane.demo@emaillistsusa.com. The panel shows a fictional real estate agent in Austin, TX, labelled "Demo record". It is sample data, not a real person.
